Julian Martin Smith Lieut. attached 9th Lancers Julian was in the Intellegence Department during The Great War. In 1901 he was possibly at Shrewsbury House, Maple Road living with Fletcher Woodhouse, Clergyman and Schoolmaster. Julian died on 10 September 1914 aged 25 and is remembered at Nangis Communal Cemetery.
Granville Keith Falconer Smith Lieut Coldstream Guards Granville, born in the spring of 1886 in Kensington was the son of Col. Granville Smith and Lady Blanche.In the spring of 1910 Granville married Kathleen Clements at St Georges Hanover Square. Granville was KIA on 29 October 1914 aged 28 and is remembered at the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres. Lady Kathleen later became Lady Kathleen Studd of Great Cumberland Place, London
Algernon Lindsay Eric Smith Lieut 1st Life Guards Algernon was born in 1892, the son of Lindsay Eric and Helen Mary Smith who, in 1901 were living at 23 Cadogan Square, Chelsea. Lindsay was a Banker. Also living in the square were architects and stock brokers, Algernnon was KIA but his date of death varies between 31 October 1914 and 31 November 1914. He is however, buried at Bedford House Cemetery near Ypres along with over 2,000 other men.
Bernard Ridley Winthrop Smith Capt. Scots Guards Died of wounds on 15 November 1914
Wilfred Robert Abel Smith C.M.G. Lieut. Col. Grenadier Gaurds Wilfred was born in 1871 in Hertfordshire, the son of Robert Smith. Wilfred married Violet Katherine Somerset in the winter of 1900 in Chelsea. He died of wounds on 19 May 1915 aged 44 and is buried at Le Touret Military Cemetery, Richebourg-L'Avenue. He lies alongside over 900 other servicemen who fell in the area.
Albert Edward Charles Robert Viscount Wendover Lieut Royal Horse Guards Albert Edward Charles Robert Wynn-Carrington, Viscount Wendover, was the son of Charles Robert Wynn-Carington 1st Marquess of Lincolnshire KG GCMG of Daws Hill, High Wycombe. He died of wounds on 19 May 1915 aged 20 and is buried at Moulsoe (St Mary's) Churchyard
Jervoise Dudley Smith 2nd Lieut Grenadier Guards Charles Jervoise Dudley Smith was the son of Gerald Dudley and Lady Barbara Smith. Gerald was a banker and in 1901 the family were in Strensham Court, Worcester. He was KIA aged 19 on 16 June 1915 and is remembered on the Le Touret Memorial.
Geoffrey Levson Ion Granville Smith Lieut Coldstream Guards Geoffrey or Godfrey as he is seen in some sources was KIA on 29 September 1915 and is remembered at the Loos Memorial
Granville Rowland Francis Smith C.V.O. C.B. Col. Cold Strearmguards In 1901 Granville, a solicitor, was living at 48 Queens Road, Richmnd with his wife, Nellie. He was KIA on 4 March 1917 aged 57.
