In Proud Memory of Frank Ashford Kingswell Lieutenant in the Queens Own Yorkshire Dragoons who
was KIA on the 22nd of March 1918 attached to the Rifle Brigade ( The Prince Consort's Own).

Mounted in the plaque remembering Frank is a 'Death Penny'. These were bronze plaques approx. 6"
in diameter that resembled a shiney new penny and were given with a scroll to the next of kin to a service
person who gave their life for their country.
