Sec Lieut John Bramald possible info, John served in the KOYLI as a 2nd Lieut. He was KIA and remembered at the Tyne Cott Memorial
Sgt Maj Charles Darwent Charles served in the KOYLI after enlisting as no 201859 and rose to rank of Sergt. He was KIA on 9th of October 1917 and is remembered on the Tyne Cot Memorial
Sgt Harry Warwick Harry enlisted in Wakefield into the KOYLI no 200762 and attained the rank of Sergt. He died of wounds aged 30 on 2nd of February 1919 and is buried in St Helen's Churchyard, Sandal, Wakefield. Cpl Wray Walls Wray was the son of William and Elizabeth of Newmillerdam. He enlisted in Wakefield into the KOYLI no 202017 and was KIA age 29 on 2nd of November 1918 being remembered at Maing Communal Cemetery
L Cpl Walter Colley Walter was the son of Tom and Elizabeth Colley of Woodmoor Cottage, Newmillerdam he served in the KOYLI no 200760 and was KIA 27 Mar 1918 and remembered at the Arras Memorial

Pte Eddie Calvert poss. The son of Charles and Martha of Jerry Clay Lane, Wrenthorpe who enlisted in Wakefield into the Northumberland Fus. and later joining the Kings Own Scottish Borderers no 40653. He was KIA aged 29 on 3rd of May 1917 amd remembered on the Memorial at Arras

Pte Alfred Colley Alfred served in the KOYLI no 200759 after enlisting in Wakefield. He was KIA on 30 April 1917 and is remembered at Ervillers Millitary Cemetery
Pte Tom Depledge The son of Andrew and Susan Depledge. Born in Woolley but lived in Newmillerdam. He served in the Prince of Wale's Own no 42537 and died of wounds aged 19 being remembered at Mendinghem Military Cemetery
Pte George Grice George William Grice was the son of Charles and Mary of Newmillerdam. He enlisted at Wakefield into the HLI no 4645 but later moved to the Cameronians no 41833. He was KIA age 36 on 30th of July 1918 and is remembered at Senlis French National Cemetery

Pte Tom Laister Thomas was born at Wombwell, Barnsley and enlisted in Wakefield. He served in the Alexandra Princess of Wale's Own no 3/8804. He was KIA on 8th of February 1917 and is remembered on the Thiepval Memorial
Pte Tom Marsden poss. Thomas Marsden who enlisted in Wakefield into the KOYLI no 200758. He was KIA on 13th of March 1917 and is remembered on the Thiepval Memorial

Pte Brooke Smith Was the son of Mr H and Mrs H E Smith of School Hill, Newmillerdam. He enlisted in Picadilly while living in Westminster. He joined the London Regt no 225003 and was KIA age 20 on 24th of August 1918 and is remembered at Summit Trench Cemetery, Croisilles.
Pte Harold R Sykes The son of George and Agnes of Newmillerdam, Harold enlisted at Wakefield into the KOYLI no 201971. He was KIA aged 20 on 3rd of May 1917 and is remembered on the Arras Memorial
Pte William Thompson poss. son of Frederick and Jane of Crofton, who was born in Jersey, enlisted at Newcastle into the DLI but resided at Crofton. He was KIA aged 23 on 9th of August 1915 and remembered at the Menin Gate Memorial
Pte Rowland Williams Rowland was born in Disbury but lived in Newmillerdam and enlisted into the KOYLI no 25187 but later transfered to the Leicestershire Regt no 19626 in Ossett. He was the son of Charles and Fanny of Hill Top, Newmillerdam. Dying aged 20 while serving in Mesopotamia on 22nd of July 1917. He is remembered at Baghdad War Cemetery
   
Those who fell in WWII 1939 - 1945
F/O C Beatson Cyril was the son of Percy and Maud of Newmillerdam. He served in the RAF as Pilot Flying Officer. He died aged 21 on the 6th of October 1944 and is remembered at Becklingen War Cemetery
Sgt G Dawson No further information at this time
P O T Linford poss. son of Frederick and Eliza and husband of Marian of Whitby. He served on HMS Warwick as a PO Stoker being killed aged 32 on 20th of Feb 1944 and remembered at the Naval Memorial Plymouth

Pte G A White George Alfred was the son of Joseph and Lucy of Newmillerdam. He enlisted into the Duke of Wellington's regt and died aged 21 on 1st of June 1940, being remembered at Marquise Communal Cemetery
